Of all responses to the ongoing Covid19 crisis, those of the religious and broader spiritual communities have interested me the most. None of the faith-based commentators I have heard so far (admittedly not many) seem to suggest that the higher power they believe in is capable of ridding the world of the new and devastating Covid19 pandemic, and I find that fascinating.

Given claims made about the unlimited power of God and those similarly made about Consciousness, how can the current situation be permitted to rage on? This is the question I asked myself this morning as I sat down…

How to use the ideas of Neville Goddard even in a pandemic…

One thing I absolutely love about the teachings of the late great English-Barbadian mystic Neville Goddard (1905–1972) is just how incredibly practical they are. In my work (I’m an author) I re-interpret Neville’s message because I want everyone to see (those familiar with Neville and those not) that there is simply no situation in life to which his teachings cannot be applied. I center this outlook in my work as a public speaker, and radio and television host as well.

It was a tube of metronidazole cream that tipped the scale for me, seeking medical help felt like a defeat, a confirmation of the fact that I was unable to resolve by myself the acne rosacea that had blighted my skin for over a year — this despite being a proponent of the philosophy that gave me the ability to do so. Thankfully all turned out well. I regained my perspective and my composure and put the power of positive thought to the ultimate test. I achieved my objective without turning to anyone for help and restored my faith in…

Today’s ‘missive’ comes from the gorgeousness that is Neville Goddard’s lecture “Test Yourselves”. available to read free online. Quote: Faith is not complete until through experiment it becomes experience. God’s promise cannot be tested. It cannot be earned, for it is given by grace. But your faith will be increased when you experiment… — end quote . The message is clear, if faith seems to elude you, it needs a basis and that basis is experience. So, if you have been putting off testing the theories because you fear you lack faith or if you feel discouraged by a lack…

The question “who do men say that I am?” attributed to the character Jesus Christ is the Bible, is an enquiry made of humanity about humanity. As Neville explains, the words ‘I am’ when used by any of us can never refer to anyone but ourselves. It is the most important question we can ask of ourselves because the answer determines our lived experiences now and in future. As I frequently tell people who talk to me about relationship or societal frustrations, the concept we hold of ourselves determines how we are both seen and received. Trying to change another…

In the words of the Corona beer makers, “find your beach”. Whether you work a traditional Monday-Friday 9–5 or something else, determine to devote some time to self-care.

What this looks like for you can be very exciting to discover and will ideally help you blow off steam AND to feel really penetratingly well. Feeling good about yourself is surprisingly easy to achieve no matter your present packaging, just find a quiet private spot to talk yourself up and it doesn’t take long either. If you have 30 seconds you can do it. The shower is a great place, or…

Unsure about what step to take? Ask your body. We are physiologically equipped with the apparatus to measure what is right and not so right for us. If your plans trigger a tightening below the diaphragm, it’s a signal that the project is not right for you under the present circumstances, a “tingle” in the epiglottis or any sensation of excitement above the diaphragm is a green light. Experiment with this concept and surprise you….

A 15second read of the type of thing I post on Facebook.

I welcome questions so feel free to drop me a line there.

When I graduated from university — like many others — my finances were in ruins, this despite considerable support from my parents. I endured this state of affairs for a long time. Then I decided to not be in that position any longer and did the only thing I knew how to do, I applied the teaching of Neville Goddard. Needless to say, I am in a very different position today and can sincerely say that…

One of the most difficult things for me to master during the course of my metaphysical journey, was the ability to walk away from one state of consciousness and to step into another. That’s to say to set aside the things that were taking me nowhere, and to take hold of those things that gave my life purpose and direction.

It took me a lot of trial and error before I came to fully understand that this is what Neville Goddard meant when he spoke about our ability to change our circumstances. The great man said that emotional (psychological) states…

Life can feel unbelievably chaotic at times with countless of us unable to find a clear path to wherever it is we are trying to get. The stunningly helpful thing about the philosophy of positive mind metaphysics is that we are gifted a internal road map which is revealed as we meet each challenge with imaginative action.

Every situation, every condition of life treated subjectively and which results in an outcome as a product of that action, takes us forward in the direction we are “meant” to go in. Your purpose, your role, and the way to fulfil it are…
